I have decided that the main, and only, goal for this riding is to have fun. Because I have started to slip to the "dark side" a little bit. By the dark side I mean the basic athletic and Finnish mentality that "nothing good comes by having fun", "there needs to be blood, sweat and spittle running if you wanna be winner".. and so much more similar thoughts. For me this is an hobby, something I like to do. It's a hobby where I want to be good, but still the main thing is to enjoy it. This is one of the main reasons why people stops their hobbies. Either themselves can't stay on the bright side, or parents or coaches are pushing them. I believe as long as a person is enjoying the sport, he/she is willing to do some not so interesting exercises. Right now I have only this one screen shot to show. But you can see, the training is about enjoying jumps and manuals. Yey yey yey!!
I gave in again, kinda smartly, same time really dumb move. I went to ride BMX. You know what, that 20min helped me to remember all the good things. Everything is gonna be good, world is good, life is good.. I was hoping I could ride little longer but on the first lap I just rode the whole lap without stopping. My heart rate is supposed to be under 140, max 150!! And everyone knows what the heart rate is on the last straight. It took me a while to recover but then I realized that I could do the first straight and stop, walk back up the starting hill and start again. So that is what I have been doing now for couple days. It is just wonderful to get to ride!

Outi is a BMX racer. She got serious brain injury in car accident 2004. She has represented Finland in World Champs 2012-2015. Been the first rider from Finland ever been in BMX race World Champs and the only one to make it to final. Cycling Club
