In the test I rode a bike. i had oxygen mask on my face. Every 3 minutes the resistance got higher and they took blood from my finger. From the blood they looked my lactate. The results were pretty interesting. I was able to keep up about the same time as year ago, about 25min. The last minutes were afwul. My airobic and anairobic numbers were worse than last time, also the lactate were even higher than last time. But my maximum were better and during the whole test my heart rate were about 10 beat lower than year before. So something better, but more is needed. The new season started with jogging. First 2 weeks I will be running 75minutes 5 times in a week. After that running time gets longer, all the way up to 3hours!
If I don't feel like running. I can cover that little over 1 hour running by 2hours bike riding or 3 hours swimmiing. Running sounds better than ever! ;)
BTW. It was one year ago in the same test when the tester dude told me that I could ask Kari Ormo to be my coach. He said that probably Ormo will not have time for me. Anyway I contact him and now Ormo is my coach. I'm more than happy for that. I should have take some flowers to that tester guy. There is huge difference to train with someone who knows what to do! I wish everyone could have someone to help them like that!
