I magazines, book covers and tv are all the time commenting about loosing weight wisely. What does it actually mean? Most likely their point is to lose only fat. That means losing weight so slowly that you can't see it. When you don't see the results, it's hard to keep yourself away from bad thing. I think the wise way to lose weight is the way what makes you lose the weight. If someone can keep theirselves interested by losing 2kg/month, good on you! I need to lose 2 kg a week to keep on doing it. ”Fat doesn't burn that fast” Well it does burn more than if I would try to go 2kg/month and get bored and in the end not even lose anything. There is somethings I have tried to look after; getting vitamins and keep bowel happy. If you don't need to go toilet, your bowel is not working. If you learn to feel your belly/bowel it will tell you what it liked about that what you have eaten. My bowel really likes when I eat fish and nuts. I do feel lots better than how I feel with my old eating habbits.
Everyone has their own style. I have read from somewhere that actually there is no reason to lose weight and struggle on that, because we will always get back to the weight we have naturally. It's true that people should not train themselves to be in better shape than what they will maintain. For someone it might sound that I'm telling them to not practice, because they are not gonna kepp up on that forever. You can also see it the way that you should not skip your practice because then your previous work is for nothing.
Right now I would like to jump. Squeeze out everything. Try how springly I could jump or how high I can reach. Jumping high wall jumps has been proven to be proportional to the muscle cell balance person has. Showing if you have been blessed with fast of slow muscle cells. I'm holding myself from jumping, because so many times I have been told to ”NOT SCREW UP THIS” or do not test the leg if it holds. If I play around now, then 2 months recovery time is for nothing. My physioteraphist told me that I can get on bike after one month. A MONTH!!! After that I have been off the bike for 3 months! ¼ of year. I'm not promising that I will hold myself for a month but I will hold on for little more. Also I will not be able to take part to Grands this year. My goal is World Champs so I haven't lose anything yet!
