Yesterday were at boys school joining charity raise. Raising money for the school. There were diffent kind of games, food and carneval rides. Sweet as, like locals always say. It's not sweet ass, but sounds like :) Everything is cool as, easy as.. 4 years old boy comment to me: "what a long as knee pads". I got all upset and tried to told the kid that he can't talk like that. He just continued; " wou, those are cool as shoes"! I got all confuced. "Watch your mouth", and tried to act like adult. One parent gave me a look and let me understand to stop. I didn't get it. Kid is swearing and parent tells me to shut up.. After a while I find out the phrase. Pretty funny :)
I guess after last weekend local BMX-families have started to look after me. Or I don't know, but last few days I have been looking after couple BMX kids. It has been fun. At morning we go to ride. Days we stay home and rest and evenings something small. Following weekend is gonna be NZ BMX Nationals, so many families have took kids off the school for this week. The biggest challenge is still the first jump. Problem is that I jump it, when I'm try to stay on ground. Anyway, I got to know that even people who don't know me, comments that my riding has got heaps better over here. I'm still not getting all out of myself so better keep my feet on the ground. I just got a new book from one person working for BikeNZ. Got to start to read...
