Cherry on top I have got my track to be almost ready. It's looking good. I love it! On Saturday I will have opening jams. Things are not as ready as they could be but I hope everyone understands that when they see my face ;)
Finally I organized some time to write a blog. I burned my face and got to hospital. yes yes. shouldn't have done it.. "I told you". I'm still happy I did it. Rather do things and fail than don't do. What what.. I made broke record at last weekend and also made new Finnish record for time trial. At the same time I won two Finnish Champs, but got to say that it always feels better to brake your own record than beat other. Also got to doping test! that's cool, coz it means that they think bmx racing to be real sport.

The main races of the season are behind now. World Champs went pretty much as expected. Biggest problem was that I didn't jump the first jump. Anyways I had some good battles, so much wanted race-practice.
In Nordic Champs I continued with good battling. This time I took me to get silver and bronze. I keep on thinking that I could have got 1st and 2nd, but the girl who took them was better than me. At least still during this season ;) Different thouhgts about the races keeps on taking over my mind. I wish I'm able to get something out of this thoughts when planning the next season. This season is not end yet, but my eyes are pretty much in the next season. Also my eyes are looking for some rest. This travelling and racing and driving car thing is just too much. The night after the races I drove thru Sweden and promised myself that I will never do that again... we'll see.. :) In both Champs we had new record for riders from Finland. World Champs we had 9 riders, in 11 different classes. And in Nordic Champs we had around 30 riders. Also wanna point out the nice results our young riders got, many silvers, fourth places, finalists. Many riders pushing them selves to something new. I think the riders who came to the Nordics this year will have little advantage for the next year when the race is gonna be in Finland. |
