As long as I remember, I have wanted to have American Xmas. My family in Finland is already full up to head for that. Every year I ask; could we this year open the presents at morning. The idea of sun shine coming thru the curtains and wake you up, you feel little bit angry.. but suddenly you remember it's xmas. Presents are under the tree! Wuhuu, new railway :) okey, the last one was little too much. Anyway, it sounds way better than all day waiting and wondering that when the santa will come.. In America, you gotto wait present till morning, but also the time difference makes this be pretty much the last place for santa to visit. My American Xmas has been the most wonderful. In Finland we always eat rise pudding at Xmas morning. This time I had to settle with oat meal. Ice skating tradition turning to surfing, or christmas sauna being xmas jazucci, I have nothing to complane about. I hope I can hold on these new traditions. I even made some caramel apples, but we haven't dare to taste them yet :) The loss of snow is replaced with xmas lights. Too bad I don't have any photos to post. Pretty amazing houses and streets! I hope everyone had great and relaxing xmas! (I have been able to drop my rest heart rate pretty well, this morning I was back to 45. Five more beats down and I'm back in game)
